Entrepreneur Ron Barbarossa (Ron Barba) has recently abandoned his sinking ship of a marriage and is looking to start dating again full steam. Along for the ride are his two slacker actor friends, Adam and Tony, who convinced Ron to jump back into the singles pool with them.

Will the S.S. Ron sail to glory?

Or will his kids, ex-wife and broke friends drag him under?

“The Ron Show” is a spin-off of the web series “Forty or Something” (fortyorsomething.com), also written and directed by Adam P. Murphy, in which Adam stars alongside Tony White as versions of their real-life selves, and which featured the Ron character as Adam’s grumpy neighbor in Season 1.

Fast forward to “The Ron Show”, and Ron is now free of the marriage which was causing of his misery. Actors Lori Spano and Dylan Torrey, who appeared in “Forty or Something” as Ron’s wife and son, reprise their roles in “The Ron Show”, and Booch O’Connell joins the cast as his teenage daughter, Delilah.

In Episode 1 of “The Ron Show”, we also meet Debbie (Margaret Champagne), Ron’s neighbor in his new Manhattan high-rise apartment building, who will become a recurring character.
